Returns page and window
Why it matters An agent wants to tell the shopper the return window and who pays; if the page isn’t clear it can’t verify the condition.

How we measure it
We find the returns page from links on the homepage and product page, open it and look for the return window (days). Days found passes; a page without days, or a PDF-only policy, is a partial pass; no page fails.
What the result page says
These are the sentences in the test result; “…” is replaced by what we found on your site.
- PassedA returns page was found and the window is readable: … days….
- PartialYour return policy is in a PDF, which agents often can’t read.
- PartialA returns page was found, but it doesn’t state the window clearly (e.g. “within 30 days”).
- FailedNo return policy link was found on the homepage or product page; it may be added later by JavaScript.
How to fix it
Target: The homepage links to an HTML returns page that states the window, fees and method clearly.
How to verify it yourself
The returns page should state the window in days, who pays for return shipping and how to return.
Fix it with an AI coding agent
Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor or another coding agent working on your store’s code. Review the change before you deploy it.
You are working on my online store. Specoria’s agent readiness test checks the item below. Fix it so AI shopping agents can read the store and act on it.

## Rules
- First look through the codebase and tell me which files or templates you will change, before editing anything.
- Change only what these checks need, and keep the visible page and the structured data saying the same thing.
- Never invent prices, stock, shipping or return terms, reviews or product identifiers (GTIN): take them from the store’s real data or ask me.
- Don’t block or slow down real visitors and don’t add tracking.
- After deploying, run the free test again at https://specoria.com/ to verify the fix.
