Contact or quote form within one click
Why it matters This is the point where an agent turns interest into a lead; without a reachable form it stops or sends the user elsewhere.

How we measure it
We look for a real contact or quote form (with a text area or an email/phone field) or a link to a contact/quote page on the homepage; found passes. Only an email link is a partial pass; nothing fails. Nothing is ever typed into the form.
What the result page says
These are the sentences in the test result; “…” is replaced by what we found on your site.
- PassedThe homepage has a real contact form; it submits to ….
- PassedThe homepage links to a contact or quote page. (We didn’t open that page, so we didn’t check the form on it.)
- PartialThere’s only an email link; no contact or quote form was found on or linked from the homepage.
- FailedNo contact form, contact page link or quote link was found on the homepage.
How to fix it
Target: A plain HTML form (name, email, message) reachable in one click from the homepage, with clearly labelled fields.
Example code
<form action="https://example.com/contact" method="post">
<label>Name <input name="name" required></label>
<label>Email <input type="email" name="email" required></label>
<label>Message <textarea name="message"></textarea></label>
<button type="submit">Send</button>
</form>
Example values (example.com, product name, price) are placeholders; replace them with your own.
How to verify it yourself
With JavaScript disabled, the homepage should show a contact form or a “Contact” / “Get a quote” link to one.
Fix it with an AI coding agent
Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor or another coding agent working on your store’s code. Review the change before you deploy it.
You are working on my online store. Specoria’s agent readiness test checks the item below. Fix it so AI shopping agents can read the store and act on it.
## 1. Contact or quote form within one click (contact_form)
Target: A plain HTML form (name, email, message) reachable in one click from the homepage, with clearly labelled fields.
Example fix (adapt it to this codebase and platform; example values are placeholders):
```
<form action="https://example.com/contact" method="post">
<label>Name <input name="name" required></label>
<label>Email <input type="email" name="email" required></label>
<label>Message <textarea name="message"></textarea></label>
<button type="submit">Send</button>
</form>
```

## Rules
- First look through the codebase and tell me which files or templates you will change, before editing anything.
- Change only what these checks need, and keep the visible page and the structured data saying the same thing.
- Never invent prices, stock, shipping or return terms, reviews or product identifiers (GTIN): take them from the store’s real data or ask me.
- Don’t block or slow down real visitors and don’t add tracking.
- After deploying, run the free test again at https://specoria.com/ to verify the fix.
