Why it matters If the listed price differs from the checkout total, the agent won’t confirm the order; Google may drop mismatched products.

How we measure it

We compare the structured-data price with the product price meta tag and the visible page text. A meta tag with a different price fails the check and is a critical blocker; a price that isn’t visible on the page is a partial pass.

What the result page says

These are the sentences in the test result; “…” is replaced by what we found on your site.

  • PassedThe price in structured data matches the price shown on the page.
  • PartialThe structured-data price wasn’t found in the page’s visible text; the price may be loaded later.
  • FailedThe structured-data price (…) differs from the page’s price tag (…). An agent may quote the wrong price or treat the store as unreliable.
  • FailedIn … of … sampled products the structured-data price differs from the price on the page.

How to fix it

Target: Visible price = structured-data price = feed price (taxes included, same currency).

How to verify it yourself

Compare the schema price, meta price and on-page price for the same product; mark sale prices separately.

Fix it with an AI coding agent

Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor or another coding agent working on your store’s code. Review the change before you deploy it.

You are working on my online store. Specoria’s agent readiness test checks the item below. Fix it so AI shopping agents can read the store and act on it.

## Rules
- First look through the codebase and tell me which files or templates you will change, before editing anything.
- Change only what these checks need, and keep the visible page and the structured data saying the same thing.
- Never invent prices, stock, shipping or return terms, reviews or product identifiers (GTIN): take them from the store’s real data or ask me.
- Don’t block or slow down real visitors and don’t add tracking.
- After deploying, run the free test again at https://specoria.com/ to verify the fix.
